Description | The Contract Term shall be for a period of five (5) years from the Effective Date, unless previously terminated pursuant to this Contract. The project consists of all work associated with the loading, unloading and transportation, of sanitary sludge generated by the Town of Canton Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) to an approved disposal site (separately arranged by Owner). A general description of work to be performed under this contract shall include, but is not limited to the following: 1. Transportation of sanitary sludge from the Owner’s facility to an approved treatment and disposal facility by the Contractor on an as-needed basis. 2. Transportation of aforementioned sanitary sludge in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. 3. Submission of reports to the Town of Canton WPCF with information regarding the sanitary sludge handled to include, but not limited to, pick-up times, quantity (gallons), disposal site, and load number. 4. Maintenance of records of sludge transportation, handling, and disposal as required by local, state and federal regulations. 5. Planning for contingency situations in which the primary mode of transportation becomes unavailable. 6. Submission of detailed and accurate billing statements to the Owner on a monthly basis. |
