Description

The contract for the construction of the pavement resurfacing for RIVERSIDE PARKWAY is approximately 2.86 center lane miles in length with variable widths of travel lanes. The approximate surface area is 52,855 SY of asphalt. The milling will consist of removing asphalt concrete from gutter to gutter at a depth of 1 ½ inches. Resurfacing RIVERSIDE PKWY with virgin superpave asphaltic concrete 12.5mm at spread rate of 165 lbs./Sy. Recycled asphaltic concrete will not be allowed on this project. The removal and replacement of thermoplastic striping and pavement markings to existing conditions is required for the segment of roadway. Asphaltic concrete pavement shall be milled and placement of hot mix asphalt daily on exposed milled surface. No milled surfaces shall be left exposed overnight.
