Description | Project is to determine how low tide sections of towns in the Valley can evacuate on foot to shelters during high rainfall events so that first responders can focus on other issues. The need for the Project is that the 2019 Disasters rendered many footpaths in the Valley nonviable, greatly burdening first responders’ ability to help people evacuate in the counties included in the Presidential Disaster Declaration - Hidalgo, Willacy, and Cameron. The HUB Goal for this procurement is 26.0% of the total contract value. |
