Description

The purpose of this bid is to solicit offers from qualified Bidders to provide labor and materials for the installation of High School scoreboards and marquees. Bid shall be awarded to the lowest overall responsive bidder. Questions Due Date: May 22nd 2023, 2:00 PM PDT Bidder proposed substitutions must be submitted to District by no later than 2:00 PM on Monday, May 22, 2023 All attendees must check-in at the front office, providing a valid, government issued drivers license or other photo I.D., to obtain a guest badge prior to attending the conference. Attendees will sign an attendance list to be provided. The following school sites will be visited during the mandatory job walk in the following subsequent order immediately following the Initial Job Walk: Norco High School: 2065 Temescal Ave, Norco, CA 92860 Corona High School: 1150 W 10th St, Corona, CA 92882 Centennial High School: 1820 Rimpau Ave, Corona, CA 92881 Santiago High School: 1395 E Foothill Pkwy, Corona, CA 92881 Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent bidding and Contract Documents. Copies are on file and open for public inspection at the District Office. No Contractor or Subcontractor may be listed on the Bid Form or Designation of Subcontractors Form for the Project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Contractors bidding this Project shall also require, pursuant to Public Contract Code section 4108, all Subcontractors providing labor and materials in excess of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) to supply an original signature on a fully executed 100% Faithful Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond. All such Subcontractor bonds shall be delivered by Contractor to District through Architect within ten (10) calendar days following Contractors receipt of notification of the award of the Contract for the Project and before any Work is performed by any Subcontractor on the Project. The failure by or refusal of a Subcontractor to comply with this requirement may result in that Subcontractors substitution consistent with Public Contract Code sections 4108(b) and 4107(a)(4). All contractors bidding on the Project must specify this requirement for Subcontractor bonds in their written or published request for Subcontractor bids. No Contractor or Subcontractor may be awarded a contract for the Project unless registered with DIR pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. Bids shall be received in the electronic format identified above, and shall be electronically opened and publicly read aloud at the above-stated time and place. Consistent with Public Contract Code section 20103.8 and Section 21 of the Information for Bidders form relating to the use of alternate bids, the lowest responsible Bidder for the Project shall be determined using the method indicated by a check mark in the box below associated with the statement.
