Cornell University Veterinary Research Tower Level 8 Laboratory Modifications

This project will update and integrate approximately 900 sq ft of existing laboratory space into the rest of the open lab on Level 8 of the Veterinary Research Tower. There will be a coordinated abatement of existing countertops, VAT flooring, and the transit panels in an existing fume hood. This will be followed by the removal of the remaining casework and dividing walls. Continuing the layout of the existing open lab, two new tissue culture rooms will be built along the north wall of the lab and OFCI casework, countertops, shelving, and equipment will be installed. Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, and IT services will be re-routed to supply this reconfigured space.
