Description | For West Terminal Ramp Expansion - Package 2 Construction of PCC apron pavement, including but not limited to unclassified excavation, underdrains, subbase course, crushed aggregate base course, storm drain pipe, trench drains, storm structures, cement concrete pavement, asphalt base course, asphalt surface course, fencing, manual and electric vehicle gates, taxiway edge lighting, pavement markings, concrete security wall, and a Spent Aircraft Deicing Runoff facility and other improvements associated with the project. All questions shall be submitted in writing to Chayden@spokaneairports.net. A contract according to the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and Addendums (if applicable) shall be signed prior to work commencing. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check or surety bid bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid for all bid schedules (including sales tax). A performance bond, payment bond, and liability insurance in accordance with the contract documents will be required for the Contract. This is a prevailing wage project per applicable StateLaw. The Spokane Airport Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in the best interest of the Airport pursuant to the terms of the Instruction to Bidders and General Conditions. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All bidders are cautioned to be aware of the requirement to have their bids considered responsive.
