Description

The City of Cincinnati, Ohio, (hereinafter referred as "City") is issuing this Request for Proposals (hereinafter "RFP") pursuant to the provisions of the Cincinnati Municipal Code (CMC), Chapter 321 and City Manager Administrative Regulation 23 for Professional Services, from parties, (hereinafter "Offerors). For Watermain Replacement 2023 Project Bundle 4, the Offeror shall provide Engineering services as described for the projects listed below and detailed in Attachment 6 of this RFP: a) Melrose/Lincoln Water Main Replacement b) Concord/Morgan Water Main Replacement c) Alms/Chapel Water Main Replacement d) Blaesi/Camargo Water Main Replacement The Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) is a municipally owned and operated utility by the City of Cincinnati since 1839. GCWW supplies more than 43-billion gallons of water a year through 3,100 miles of water mains to about 240,000 residential and commercial accounts, representing more than 1.1 million customers throughout Hamilton County and portions of Butler, Warren, Clermont, and Boone Counties and the City of Florence, KY. GCWW is soliciting proposals for Watermain Replacement Project Bundle 4. Details of the work requested for each of the projects included in this Bundle are found in Attachment 7. The services required for each project are summarized in Table 1. Detailed scopes of work for the services listed in Table 1 can be found in attachments 8 through 10 of this RFP. All questions or requests for clarification must be submitted in writing no later than May 18, 2022 at 5:00pm ET. Questions and clarification requests may be emailed to Melanie Roaden at melanie.roaden@cincinnati-oh.gov or submitted through the Bonfire portal The Offeror should be prepared to begin contract negotiations upon submitting a proposal. If the Offeror is not able to begin contract negotiations, the City may disqualify that Offeror. The City reserves the right to negotiate the Agreement to include any portion or portions of the services covered by this RFP. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in total or by components. As of July 25, 2022, the project is currently under evaluation. An issuance of short-list of firms has not been released.
