Long Hill Road (Route CR 43) Over Owasco Inlet Bridge Replacement

Project includes replacing the existing bridge over the Owasco Inlet with a newly constructed single span bridge along the same alignment. The existing superstructure and substructure units will be removed to the base of the pile caps and the piles will be left in place. New integral abutments and piles will be installed behind the existing abutment piles, and inline wingwalls cantilevered from the abutments will replace the existing wingwalls. A new reinforced concrete deck/weathering steel multi-girder superstructure will be installed and portions of the adjacent roadway segments reconstructed.
