Classification Code: Y Series - Construction of Structures/Facilities & Z Series- Maintenance, Repair, and Alteration of Real Property NAICS Code: 236, 237, & 238 Title: Malmstrom AFB Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Primary POC: Cody Babinecz, 406-731-4608 Secondary POC: Capt Cameron Swathwood, 406-731-4166 Description: The 341st Contracting Squadron, Malmstrom Air Force Base (AFB), Montana is contemplating a solicitation for a multiple award contract (MAC). Awarded MAC indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracts would be for the construction of structures and facilities, repair, maintenance, and alteration of real property assets within the confines of Malmstrom AFB, Weapons Storage Area (WSA), and Missile Alert Facility (MAF) and Launch Facility (LF) sites located within the Missile Complex throughout Montana. The MAC will serve as the primary contract vehicle for which construction projects identified by Malmstrom AFB will be advertised amongst the identified pool of contractors. The Government is looking to identify small business concerns, to include 8(a), HUBZone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) interested to serve in the capacity of "Prime" contractors and have the capability to accomplish multiple craft type projects through the usage of subcontractors. Possible subcontracting opportunities would be electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression/alarm/detection systems, excavations, road/ asphalt improvements, and HTHW Systems. Potential Acquisition Strategy The Government intends to advertise and award this MAC with a basic ordering period of fiveyears and one option period of two-years for a total contract period of seven-years. The MAC will be solicited under the 236, 237, and 238 NAICS with a specific NAICS code being identified at the task order level. The small business size standard will vary between $19M to $45M based upon the NAICS specified at the task order level. The aggregate MAC capacity is identified at $200M. Actual projects upon award of the MAC are at this time estimated to be at a minimum level of $2,000.00 and an estimated maximum of $20M per task order. The Government intends to target the award of eight (8) separate contracts under this multiple award type of contract with a minimum of two 8(a) contracts; however, the Government may decide to award more or less than eight contracts at their discretion. Furthermore, the Government is considering a pooled contractor approach which would create two separate pools based on the anticipated dollar value of requirements. The Government intends to use this information for business type decisions on the final solicitation product. All interested parties are requested to submit the below information to the primary POC; Cody Babinecz at cody.babinecz@us.af.mil no later than 2:00 pm Mountain Time on 21 April 2023. a) Company Name b) State/Township of Business c) Small Business status (8(a), HUBZone, WOSB etc.) d) Company Cage Code/UIE The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
