Description

Water Source Test Well Drilling, Manzanar National Historic Site. The contractor shall provide all equipment, labor and materials necessary to construct a water source test well. Work includes drilling, well casing, pump testing, conducting a video inspection log, and securing well head. Construct a water source test well for Manzanar National Historic Site. Work includes drilling and setting temporary conductor casing; drilling a borehole to an anticipated depth of approximately 260 feet below land surface; installing stainless steel shutter well screen with gravel-pack; installing PVC water well casing with formation stabilizer; installing surface seal material around the permanent well casing; well development, conducting a step-drawdown pumping test; conducting recovery test; conducting a video inspection log, disinfecting the completed test well, and securing the well head at the completion of the work.
