Southwood Shelter Replacement

The City of Parkersburg will receive sealed bids for #2023-01 SOUTHWOOD SHELTER REPLACEMENT. No bid will be accepted without the contractor's w.V. License number being included on the bid submission. The successful bidder may be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds. Each bidder shall require a certified check, bank draft or acceptable surety bid bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Section 202 of Executive order No 11246. All questions must be made in writing and emailed to Adam Stout, PE at adam.stout@parkersburgwv.gov All work shall be performed as indicated on plans and specification and include every aspect of work as obvious or implied and necessary to make work complete and fully operational. The general scope of work for this project is as follows: Construction of shelter as shown on plans Removal of existing post Saw cut around existing posts Remove existing posts to a depth of 8" below existing grade Place 8" of concrete in location where existing posts were removed
