| Description | To upgrade the HVAC system at its Housing Unit F located at the Cambria County Prison, 425 Manor Drive, Ebensburg PA 15931. The HVAC system shall be replaced for improved air quality to the building occupants. The Design Build contractor (and his/her engineer) shall provide research and confirming data to support incorporating newer technologies to aid in combating the spread of airborne pathogens. Options for potential enhancements shall be presented as part of the Design Build proposal at the time of bidding and shall be used as consideration in selecting the eventual Design Build Contractor. The Design Build contractor (and his/her engineer) proposal shall provide, at a minimum, MERV-13 minimum filtration, six air exchanges per hour minimum air exchange, UC Ultraviolet light, and Needlepoint B1 polar ionization units. The Design Build contractor (and his/her engineer) shall provide research and confirming data to support incorporating newer technologies to aid in combating the spread of airborne pathogens. |
