Description | The Jacksonville Transportation Authority will require a supplier to provide services for ITB No. 23-009 Myrtle Avenue Operations Campus (MAOC) Building 2 Lobby Remodel. Question Deadline 09/21/2023 at 12:00 PM ET Deadline for questions regarding the plans and/or specifications, Questions must be submitted in writing Electronically All questions or concerns regarding this solicitation must be submitted on the JTA Bonfire Procurement Portal The Jacksonville Transportation Authority is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages expressions of interest for the described services from Disadvantaged Business Enterprises. The Jacksonville Transportation Authority herein after referred to as (the "Authority" or "JTA") hereby requests sealed Bids from qualified firms herein after referred to as ("Contractors") to complete lobby remodel project on its Mrytle Avenue Operations Campus (MAOC) in Building #2. The property is located at 100 North Myrtle Avenue, Jacksonville, FL 32204. The JTA intends to award a contract for this project through a Shark Tank style competition during the Regional Capital Infrastructure Summit on October 16, 2023, to be held at the Schultz Center, 4019 Boulevard Center, Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32207. All perspective Bidders that are deemed responsive and responsible will be notified and required to attend and participate in this event by presenting to the Evaluation Committee the Bidder's ability to perform and complete the work as further detailed Section III of the solicitation document. There will be a three (3) minute time limit for each Bidder presentation. SPECIFICATIONS: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the work within 120 days of issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Contractors are advised to attend the scheduled site visit, verify the existing conditions to develop their Bid. Items to be addressed for this project are summarized below: A. Construct walls to enclose the lobby and add two (2) doors to secure the front corridor. Attachment 'A' is being provided below for details. B. Patch and smooth any and all existing holes and uneven spots on walls. C. Remove and replace current cove base with 4-inch white vinyl cove base. D. The walls will be painted SW 7029 Agreeable Gray by Sherwin Williams or an equivalent brand and color. E. Cover all door openings and flooring with protected material to limit damage and dust in other areas. F. Dispose of any and all debris. G. Work will be performed as scheduled by the JTA Project Manager Local Small Business Enterprise (LSBE) Program. All Bidders are hereby notified that the Authoritys LSBE Program requirements apply to this Solicitation. The LSBE participation goal for the Contract is 100%. |
