Description

As of August 10th, 2022, project has not been awarded yet. It is anticipated to be awarded after September 28th of this year. The City of Oceanside is requesting proposals from design-build firms that demonstrate qualifications and experience of services for the design, construction, and warranty maintenance of the Brooks Street Swim Center Renovations. The method of project execution is the Progressive Design-Build (PDB) project delivery method. The City requests the project to be completed by Spring 2023.Construction should occur during the pool's off-season which is further described as September 2022 through April 2023. The City of Oceanside appreciates your response. Please e-mail the responsible Associate Engineer, Kymberly Corbin, at kcorbin@oceansideca.org with questions you may have. Reponses to questions received will be posted on the City's website. No questions will be accepted after 4:00 pm June 17, 2022; the last answer set will be posted to the City's website by 4:00 pm June 28, 2022. "Performance Bond" for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract award to guarantee faithful and timely performance of all work, in a manner satisfactory to the City, and further guarantee that all materials and workmanship will be free from original or developed defects. Payment Bond" (material and labor bond) for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract award to satisfy claims of material suppliers, mechanics, and laborers employed by Bidder on the Work that is the subject of the agreement. City shall reserve the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality, to make an award based on the best interest of the City *The value for this project is based on a financial range $900,000 - $1,000,000. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
