Description

Detailed Scope of Work o The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor and supervision to perform and complete the project described below. o Remove any unwanted equipment/curbs from roof area o Remove existing coping metal and replace with new 24 ga o Install 60 mil Carlisle Fleece Back TPO fully adhere o Provide a 20 year system and a 5 year workmanship warranty o All metal replaced with 24 ga metal o Contractor to install new retro fit roof drains o Contractor to rework all emergency overflow drains o No extra material to be stored on roof (only daily material to be placed on roof each day) o The Contractor shall confirm allowable working hours with Owner before mobilization. o Contractor shall obtain approvals in advance for all lay down and storage areas. o Contractor is responsible for protection of all surfaces including those not in the scope of work from construction dust, debris or damage during construction up until final acceptance. o Contractor will maintain clean work areas. Remove and dispose of all demolished materials and construction debris. Site must be cleaned every day at the completion of work. Contractor shall take extra precautions to pick up all debris, nails and fasteners from the ground and all surrounding area and finishing with magnetic pickup to ensure safety and cleanliness. Upon completion of work, all construction areas shall be left clean and free from debris. Clean all dust, dirt and droppings. (Macon-Bibb will mark area for dumpster supplied by contractor) o Contractor to provide timeline to include projected time needed for materials, start date and finish date. o Contractor shall be responsible for all cost associated with crane and any equipment needed to complete the project. o Contractor shall schedule placement of all equipment used based on parking lot traffic, o The Contractor will be responsible for obtaining such applicable permits and the Owner will be responsible for compensating the Contractor for permit fees and any design necessary to obtain such permits or related approvals o Contractor to provide Carlisle certifications and Carlisle representative contact. o Contractor shall provide start/finish time-frame from date bid is awarded. NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DESIGNATED TIME. Minority, Women Owned and other Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate in the solicitation process. Additionally, respondents are encouraged to use M/W/DBE subcontractors where possible. Deadline for submitting questions is Friday, June 9, 2023. Questions to be submitted via email to Lhardwick@maconbibb.us Bid Bond Bids, in order to be considered, shall be accompanied by a bid bond, payable to the Owner, in amount not less than five-percent (5%) of the total base bid. This bid security shall become payable to the Owner only if the bidder, to whom award is made, should fail to execute a contract with the Owner and furnish bond and insurance in accordance with terms of the contract within ten (10) days after notification of award.
