Description

Sawcut existing asphalt; Remove, store, and reinstall existing wheel stops; Remove, protect, store and reinstall chain link fencing and gates; Mill/remove existing asphalt pavement; Remove existing road base / subgrade to 11" below finish grades; Sawcut and remove existing curb and gutter; Sawcut and remove existing sidewalks and accessible ramps; Remove existing concrete aprons at catch basins; Remove existing accessible concrete pad; Remove existing light pole, fixture, and base. Cap existing power to light pole; Remove section of waterway; Remove concrete in islands; Remove concrete at EV parking; Remove existing trees and landscaping shown; Remove existing motor pool signs; Over excavate an additional 12" of soft subgrade and fill with pit-run material; Provide and install stabilization fabric; Provide and install new precast catch basin with concrete apron; Sawcut top of existing catch basins to install concrete apron with new grate and frame; Provide and install manhole lid, riser, and concrete ring; Provide and adjust elevation of new low profile manhole lid at sump; Provide and install new 12" dia. RCP storm drain line; Provide and install concrete sidewalk; Provide and install combination concrete sidewalk and gutter; Provide and install new 30" curb & gutter; Provide and install new 3'-0" wide concrete waterway; Provide and install new 4'-0" wide concrete waterway; Install typical ADA accessible ramp in sidewalk; Install ADA accessible ramp at main entrance; Provide and install concrete pads at accessible parking; Provide and install 6" curb wall; Install 4" concrete pad at EV parking; Install 6" thick concrete pads with 6" aggregate base. Install 1'- 6" wide concrete around each item in asphalt area; Install 8" road base; Install 3" asphalt; Install 3" asphalt patch behind new curb and gutter; Install 4" wide parking stall striping; Painted ADA symbol and pedestrian striping; Painted traffic directions; Painted "Motor Pool" at stalls; Provide and install additional wheel stops; New ADA sign, post, and foundation; New "Motor Pool" sign attached to chain link; New "Motor Pool" sign, post, and foundation; New "DCFS" parking sign, post, and foundation; Provide and install concrete mow strip beneath parking signs; Flush system and clean-out debris from new & existing storm drain catch basins / sumps; Misc. repair landscaping, sprinkler system, etc. in areas of construction as needed; General Conditions; Project mobilization; Erosion control, sweep, and dust control; Construction survey and staking; Traffic control and pedestrian safety.
