Escambia County - Jail Fiber

Fiber to be installed between five county locations around the old jail and the Sherriff’s office. - The county would prefer a combination of underground and aerial fiber be used. - All Underground fiber must be in innerduct or conduit. - The vendor can use an existing Fiber conduit between Bruno/JJC and the Old Jail. - The vendor must use 48 count 250 micron armored loosed tube Single Mode fiber with a tracer wire and mule tape. (The vendor can use a smaller diameter fiber between Bruno/JJC and the Old Jail because the conduit is small.) - The vendor will splice all fiber and supply all the Fiber Patch Panels. Patch Panels will need LC Duplex connections. - All Fiber must be clearly marked, both underground and aerial. - County requests all handholes be flush mounted in the ground with a traffic rated lid. a. (Typical Size 3-feet Wide x 4-feet Long x 3-feet Deep) - The vendor is responsible for pulling all the necessary permits to complete this job. The County will assist in processing permits based on request from Vendor. - As-Built drawing for this project will be provided to the county in one of the following file formats: Geodatabases (preference) or Shapefiles. - The following list contains the street addresses for the Fiber locations: Englewood Tower Site: From 1218 West Cross Street, Pensacola, FL to Video Visitation: 1190 W Leonard St, Pensacola, FL 32501 - Aerial Escambia County Sheriff’s Office: From 1700 W Leonard St, Pensacola, FL 32501 to Bruno/JJC Building: 1800 St Mary Ave, Pensacola, FL 32501 - Underground Bruno/JJC Building: From: 1800 St Mary Ave, Pensacola, FL 32501 to Old Jail: 2935 N L St, Pensacola, FL 32501 – Underground using existing conduit.
