Sterling Heights - Public Works Building

Construction of a new Sterling Heights DPW Building to be located south of the existing Ray Filipchuk Public Works Center building (“Existing DPW Building”), in accordance with architectural plans prepared by Kueny Architects, LLC, approximately 156,610± square feet, including a mezzanine of approximately 23,250 square feet. The Project also includes the demolition of the Existing DPW Building (including having it done in phases of partial demolition, so that the Public Works Department will have a functioning operations building for use (including access) at all times during the removal and construction of the new building. The Architect will determine whether any of the materials in the Existing DPW Building may be incorporated into the new building, as this may affect the demolition costs and the demolition time line. The demolition cost must be included as part of the contract for construction of the new DPW Building project.
