Water System Modifications

The scope of work for the base bid of the project will include but is not limited to, the improvements at the Borough`s Water Supply Well No. 3. Improvements include the replacing the existing well pump starter with a variable frequency drive, installing a permanent standby emergency generator, replacing the existing pressure transmitter, upgrading the chlorine tablet dosing system, some other electrical and controls modifications required as part of the improvements and the addition of a fire hydrant near Well No. 3. The project will have three (3) supplemental bids, one for each of the interconnection locations between the Borough of Wenonah and the City of Woodbury. The scope of work for these interconnections is to include but not limited to connecting into the existing water system piping and running new piping to the manhole locations that will house a new flow meter and check valve, each in separate manholes, at each of the interconnection locations. Electricity will need to be supplied to each location from a nearby pole and the scope of the supplemental bid will include but not be limited to associated components such as a transformer, meter, control panel, and all necessary conduit and foundations to support the equipment.

Division 44 -	Pollution and Waste Control Equipment, Water Pollution Control Equipment.
