Description | For construction management services for the Wells and Mocho Groundwater Demineralization Plant (MGDP) Electrical Upgrades/Replacement Project. The enclosed Request for Proposal includes the anticipated scope of work. For the Wells & MGDP Electrical Upgrades/Replacement Project, with the Mocho Groundwater Demineralization Plant (MGDP) located at 5215 Stoneridge Dr, Pleasanton, CA 94566, and the six (6) wells included in this project located at various locations in Pleasanton, CA as shown in the attached area maps (see Attachment 1). The project is being constructed under a design-build contract with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and is currently in the design phase. HCS Engineering Inc. is the design firm for this project under Conco West, Inc. as the prime contractor. The estimated construction cost of the Wells & MGDP Electrical Upgrades/Replacement Project is approximately $5.6 million. The project is expected to last approximately 12 to 15 months and all facilities are expected to be online in early 2024. Since Zone 7 does not have a designated construction management section, it seeks proposals from qualified firms to provide third-party construction management services as described in the Preliminary Scope of Work. In addition to typical construction management, the services will also include specialty services, such as specialty inspections and testing, particularly for low and medium voltage electrical switchgear, and labor compliance monitoring as a grant funded project. Other services to be performed by Zone 7 and other consultants include preparation of the CEQA documentation, SCADA programming/system integration, and CMMS integration. No site walks will be held. Questions or comments regarding this RFP must be e-mailed to Brandon Woods at bwoods@zone7water.com, or Elliott Levitsky at elevitsky@zone7water.com, by 2:00 p.m. PST on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
