Description | The proposed work for this contract will include: Site construction work for a building pad for a 33,600 square foot building. Work includes fine grading for pavement preparation, asphalt paving, concrete curb and sidewalk, construction of water, sewer, and electrical utility services, stormwater roof drains, guiderail, lighting, landscaping, and erosion and sediment control. Additional work includes building construction including perimeter frost foundation wall and piers, intermediate piers, concrete slab foundation, backfilling and compaction, roof drain connection, utility connections, and building erection. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Reilly Associates, 49 South Main Street, Suite 200, Pittston, PA, 18640. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Each Bid, when submitted, must be accompanied by a Bid Security, prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A Non-Collusion Affidavit of Prime Bidder (NCAB-1) and Statement of Bidder's Qualifications (BQ-1) shall also be submitted with the Bid. Project is funded in part by the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract for the duration of this project: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The Labor Standards, Wage Determination and Anti-Kickback regulations (29 CFR, Part 3) issued by the Secretary of Labor are included in the contract documents of this project and govern all work under the contract. The Bidder, in accordance with the President's Executive Order 11246, will be required to insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against on the basis of their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin in employment or the provision of services.
