Roofing Replacement Services Harriet Tubman and Riverbend Towers

The project consists of the provision of site improvements, including but not limited to the removal of the existing roofing systems and the provision of a new roofing system, and other work items described by the Contract Documents Owner: Detroit Housing Commission, 1301 E. Jefferson, Detroit, MI 48207 Sites: 1. Project Location: Harriet Tubman Apartments, 2450 W. Grand Blvd, Detroit, MI 2. Project Location: Riverbend Apartments, 4386 Conner, Detroit, MI The work consists of: 1. Removal of existing roofing systems (including the light weight insulating concrete fill) as required to expose the existing roof structure/deck, and other roofing/building components as required to perform the work as indicated on the drawings, notes and specifications. 2. Salvage & re-install vent stack extensions. 3. Replacement of gutter/downspouts. 4. Preparation of roof substrate as required to accommodate for the proper installation of the new roofing sytem. 5. Construction of parapet wall system. 6. Provision of new roofing systems, including insulation, tapered insulation, roofing membrane, flashing, metal fascia/edge, walk pads. 7. Provision of guard railing system. 8. Re-installation of existing components/elements (such as gas lines, electrical wiring/conduit, AC equipment), and provision of new roof support blocking. 9. Replacement of thresholds at stair door & penthouse door. 10. Provision of additional light fixtures, wire & conduit. 11 Cleaning and other final preparation work. 12. And other work indicated within the specifications, work item notes, drawings and as required to properly complete the work.
