MPRB- Tree and/or Stump Removal and Disposal

Provide all labor, equipment, disposal fees including taxes, and all other costs necessary for the removal and disposal of diseased and/or infested trees (“tree removal”) and the removal/grinding of stumps (“stump grinding”) on an as-needed basis as requested by MPRB. The work included in this contract shall be for tree and stump removal on boulevards, public property and in private yards within the City of Minneapolis as ordered by MPRB. Removal shall include: topping and other operations necessary in removing an assigned tree; stump and large surface roots shall be ground to a minimum of: eight (8) inches below the ground surface (“regular grind” or “standard grind); to a minimum of eighteen (18”) inches to allow for planting on boulevards or a tree grate (“deep grind” or “grate grind”); to a depth of four (4”) inches (“shallow grind”); hauling and disposing of all wood and debris; removing all debris from the ground stump when needed; and backfilling the hole with quality pulverized topsoil to a minimum of three (3) inches above the existing lawn grade and cleaning up and restoring the premises to original condition.
