Sumter County CR 525E Phase Two Project

The project consists of the construction of a new two-lane undivided CR 525E phase 2 portion of the roadway from the demarcation line Station 101+75 to Station 120+56.53. The realignment and reconstruction of CR 525E is part of future four-lane improvements. The project also consists of clearing and grubbing, open and closed drainage system, excavation and embankment, temporary pavement widening, and thermoplastic pavement markings. The stormwater and maintenance of traffic shall be maintained throughout the project duration. CONTRACT TIME: The project will include 150 days from the start of construction to substantial completion and an additional 30 days to final completion for a total project construction time of 180 days.
