Digiorgio Sanitary Sewer Unit Price Contract

The Work (Project) consists of furnishing all labor, material and equipment for the construction of approximately 5,850 lineal feet of 8-inch diameter SDR-26 PVC gravity sewer main; twenty-two (22) sanitary manholes; fifteen (15) sanitary sewer services; six-hundred forty (640) lineal feet of 8-inch PVC force main; one-hundred twenty (120) lineal feet of 12-inch diameter jack and bore; one (1) central lift station; sanitary connection to FPUA’s existing sanitary tranmission system; restoration and miscellaneous appurtenances. All work will inlcude maintaining traffic control, dewatering, complete restoration and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous related work items for a complete project. This project is funded through a grant from Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) awarded the City of Fort Pierce (City), and FPUA as a sub-grantee, for the construction of sanitary sewer infrastructure and connectivity in the industrial corridor of DiGiorgio and Enterprise Road in Fort Pierce, Florida. This Industrial Sewer Connection and Septic Tank Closure Program will provide sanitary sewer access to 178 acres with 37 industrial parcels, of which 22 parcels are served by small, medium, and large businesses. FPUA will administer all aspects of the project. The awarded bidder will execute a contract with FPUA that is subject to DEO grant requirements.
