Terminal HVAC Improvement Project - Bradley International Airport

**As of August 1, 2022, project is cancelled. No definite date for the rebid.** All questions must be submitted by April 5, 2022 at 11:00 A.M The replacement of several air handling units, both indoor and rooftop, as well as several rooftop make-up air units, several heaters, and two plate and frame heat exchangers. It also includes related ductwork, piping, electrical, and controls. Indoor temperatures must be maintained with temporary HVAC units continuously during construction. Some work will have to be performed during off-hours, because most operations in the terminal building cannot be interrupted during working hours. The contract time for completion of all work is within Seven Hundred and Thirty (730) calendar days from the date specified in the "Notice to Proceed". Each sealed bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or satisfactory Bid Bond, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Connecticut Airport Authority. The successful bidder will be required to execute and furnish a Performance Bond, and Labor and Materials Payment Bond as security for faithful performance and payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the work. Each security shall be in an amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and shall be in a form acceptable to the Owner. A DBE contract goal of One point Three percent (1.3%) has been established for this contract
