Description | The project will consist of the addition of two asphalt tennis courts with associated earthwork, concrete sidewalks, stairs, and retaining walls. Bid Add Alternates are also being requested to upgrade the lighting for the six existing tennis courts and to do surface remediation of the six existing tennis courts. Bids will be received for a single Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available on a USB drive or via a shared link (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $75 including shipping via overnight express service, as needed, payable to Great River Engineering. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Bidders must obtain bidding documents from the Issuing Office to be placed on the approved bidders list. Bids received from others who are not on the approved bidders list will be rejected. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days from the actual closing time for receiving bids. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals and to waive any information in proposals received. Contract Times: Dates A. All work for all bid items will be substantially completed on or before July 15, 2023. The project will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions by August 1, 2023. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. |
