2023 Surface Improvements

The work to be performed consists, in general, of pavement patch repairs, pavement grind and overlay, placement of a Type II slurry seal, and striping. Other such items and details not mentioned herein that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications or these Special Provisions shall be performed, placed, constructed, or detailed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a Proposal Guaranty of a certified check or bidders bond of not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the order of the City of Hughson, to be retained asliquidated damaged by the Owner if the successful bidder failsto enter into a Contract. Upon entering into a contract, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each for 100 percent of the contract amount. work shall be completed within sixty (60) calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
