Starvation Reservoir Bypass Pipeline

Furnishing materials, and labor and performing all work for construction of the Project indicated Work items on this project include the removal and replacement of approximately 385 feet of 12-inch Schedule 20 Steel Pipe mounted to the ceiling of the Starvation Reservoir Bypass Tunnel, including the associated mounting hardware, welding, coating, and connections. Project also includes replacement of underground piping with approximately 275 feet of 14-inch DR-21 HDPE pipe, with CLSM backfill, thrust restraints, fittings, and connection to a new meter vault and tying into an existing valve house. Conduit for electrical and telemetry will also be installed through the length of the project. Sandblasting and recoating of piping and fittings remaining in place, as well as existing gates and control valves is also included. Cathodic protection is also a small component of the project. River flows must be maintained and a temporary bypass strategy is also incorporated into the scope of work. Central Utah Water Conservancy District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any formality, or technicality in a Bid, and to make Award to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder if deemed in the best interests of the Owner, or the public good; or as being nonresponsive to the requirements set forth herein, in Section 00 21 13, Instructions to Bidders, or on the grounds that a prospective Contractor is not qualified. Any Bid received from a Bidder who is not prequalified or received after the closing time for receipt of Bids will be returned unopened.
