Building 1303 Fencing Installation Alabama Air National Guard

The 187FW, Alabama Air National Guard has a requirement to provide secure fencing between building 1303 and the flightline. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items needed to install fencing as defined below: Contractor shall perform the following tasks to install secure fencing between building 1303 and the flightline. Contractor shall erect approximately 155 feet of new 8 foot tall chain link fencing with double outriggers with barbed wire at location marked in APPENDIX 1 to secure building 1303 from the flightline. Fencing shall tie in to existing fencing corners on the East and West of building 1303. Contractor shall construct a personnel gate centered on walkway intersected by fence. Personnel gate shall be capable of being secured by a SIMPLEX L1000 series cypher lock furnished by the government. Contractor to install a 24" wide by 6" thick concrete mow strip under the new chain link fence. Project Magnatude is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS is 238990 with a SB standard of $16,500,000. The work covered by this Statement of Work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and travel to make the needed repairs. General Scope of Work: The project is being managed from the 187th Civil Engineer Squadron (187th CES) and 187th Contracting offices located at Montgomery Air National Guard Base in Montgomery, Alabama. A contracting officer's representative (COR) will be designated at the 187th CES. Description of Work: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items needed to install fencing as defined below: W50S6N22Q0008 Page 42 of 43 Contractor shall perform the following tasks to install secure fencing between building 1303 and the flightline. Contractor shall erect approximately 155 feet of new 8 foot tall chain link fencing with double outriggers with barbed wire at location marked in APPENDIX 1 to secure building 1303 from the flightline. Fencing shall tie in to existing fencing corners on the East and West of building 1303. Contractor shall construct a personnel gate centered on walkway intersected by fence. Period of performance: The period of performance shall be 90 days after notice to proceed following contract award. Place and hours of Performance The contractor is responsible for conducting business between the hours of 0700-1700 hours Tuesday thru Friday except Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings. The project location is in a controlled area. The 187th CES will provide an escort for all contractor personnel within the controlled area. If contractor desires to work on Mondays prior coordination with the 187th CES will be required to obtain an escort to the work area. The Contractor must at all times maintain an adequate workforce for the uninterrupted execution of all tasks defined within this SOW when the Government facility is not closed for the above reasons. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
