| Description | This project consists of reconstructing the existing hot-mix asphalt Library pavement. Work scheduled to be performed on this project shall include excavating existing pavement, removal of entire islands and/or interior island excavation as identified on the plans, removal of concrete sidewalks and curb and gutter. Excavation of pavement area shall consist of constructing green storage areas beneath the proposed permeable paver pavement. Work will include, clay check dams, aggregate stone base improvement, and aggregate for green storage. The various islands within the parking lot pavement are to be constructed and landscaped to be rain gardens.
