Highway Department Steel Roll-Up Doors and Conference Room

The Graham County Highway Department is approved to replace roll-up doors in the shop and construct a new conference room during the 2021/2022 fiscal year. The following specifications are guidelines and are not limited to: Steel Roll-up Doors: 1. Remove and replace the existing roll-up doors on the south wall of the Highway Department shop. One (1) 16’ X 14’ electric steel roll-up door, one (1) 12’ X 14” electric steel roll-up door and two (2) 12’ x 12’ electric steel roll-up doors. 2. Run power from electrical panels on east and west walls to the doors and each breaker panel. 3. Clean-up job site and haul old roll-up doors to the dump. 4. Bid price must include labor, material, equipment needed to complete the job and all applicable fees and taxes. Conference Room: 1. Demo, remove and haul off existing shelving, walls or materials that need to be. Disable electric to existing parts / storage room. Remove electrical outlets, switches and existing lights. Remove existing door to parts / storage room, cut opening for new door. 2. Frame all walls and ceiling of existing parts / storage room, including sealing off double doors to shop. Frame divider wall to create new conference room and office. 3. Tie in to existing electrical and run cable to new locations for LED flush mount lights, switches and outlets. 4. Tie in to existing HVAC lines in hallway area and run new flex duct to new conference room and office. 5. Install bat installation throughout newly framed walls and ceiling. 6. Hang, tape and texture drywall on new framed walls and ceiling. Patch any drywall that was removed to tie into existing duct. 7. Hang new door at hallway to enter new conference room. Reinstall existing door on office. 8. Prime and paint new conference room and office walls and ceilings with two coats of semi-gloss white, one color. 9. Install new commercial grade flooring in new conference room and office. 10. Install new cove base throughout new conference room and office. 11. Clean-up job site and haul off debris. 12. Bid price must include labor, material, equipment needed to complete the job and all applicable fees and taxes.
