Description

The MacDill Drive-Thru Pharmacy serves 215K eligible beneficiaries and dispenses 256K refill prescriptions annually and has recently begun dispensing next-day new prescriptions processed at two other pharmacy sites, resulting in an increased workload of 60%. The current pneumatic tubing and audiovisual system was installed by Diebold in 2009. There has been a continual decline in optimal functionality in both the tube consoles and audiovisual systems which has created difficulty in ensuring efficient prescription dispensing and clear communication between pharmacy staff and patients. 1. The contractor shall be responsible for the removal and disposal of any existing equipment required to install the new system. 2. The contractor shall be responsible for procuring and installing all hardware, software & equipment. 3. The contractor shall ensure equipment is compatible with existing power and facility capacity and identify any additional requirements necessary to allow for full functionality ahead of contract award. 4. The contractor shall ensure equipment is properly installed, accurately connected and in working condition. 5. The contractor will provide on-site training after installation as needed. 6. The contractor must provide 24/7 customer support and warranty to be effective a minimum of one calendar year from completed installation and acceptance by the 6th Medical Group.
