Description | As of February 8, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Construction of a new 200,000 gallon glass fused to steel finished water storage tank replacement, water main and distribution system replacements/upgrades, and booster station electrical upgrades and controls. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Total MWBE Participation Goals: 20% Contract term: one year Business entities awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: None The , Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, construction of a new 200,000-gallon glassfused to steel finished water storage tank replacement, water main and distribution system replacements/upgrades, and booster station electrical upgrades and controls. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis for Contract No. TJ-WP-2022-G, and will include alternate bid item(s) as indicated in the Bid Form. This project will be using a NYS EFC WIIA Grant and SRF Loan. Compliance with the NYS EFC Mandatory State Revolving Fund Terms and Conditions (For projects funded with NYS Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Effective November 1, 2021) will be required and include a 20% MWBE participation goal and American Iron and Steel requirements. All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the maximum bid price, as determined by adding the base bid and all alternatives, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses issued by the Secretary of Labor on May 21, 1968 and published in the Federal Register (41CFR Part 60-1, 33 F.2 7804). The Town strongly encourages all minority and woman-owned businesses and Section 3 businesses to participate in the bidding process. |
