Guanella Reservoir 2022 Reclamation Project

1) Re-establish an access road along the western fence line of the permit boundary. Approximately 520 LF – 30-ft wide access road – 6” class 6 road base. Also includes a turn-around area of approximately 120-ft x 65-ft. Includes subgrade prep, fine grading, and compaction of gravel base material. 2) Mitigation of Saline Soil Areas Excavate areas outside of access road that have failed to have vegetation re-established due to saline soils (Mitigation Areas). Excavated materials from mitigation area will be spread evenly across the permanent staging area. These areas will be identified with the Contractor by the City or representative prior to initiating excavation. Install geosynthetic clay liner in mitigation areas. Furnish, deliver, and install imported subsoil to apply to the bottom 18-inches of the mitigation area. Furnish, deliver, and install imported topsoil to apply to the top 6-inches of the mitigation areas, and the other harvested areas. Topsoil should be within acceptable range of pH, alkalinity/salt tolerance, organic matter, etc. suitable for the native grasses as specified for revegetation. Complete fine grading of planting soil. 3) Complete revegetation (seeding/mulching/etc.) as specified. 4) Install and maintain ancillary erosion control best management practices.
