Description | PAWLING WATER SUPPLY PROJECT VILLAGE OF PAWLING, DUTCHESS COUNTY, NY The Village of Pawling, hereinafter called the Owner, is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of the following project: Pawling Water Supply Project Village of Pawling Bid No.: VP-BID-03 All Bids must be made upon and in accordance with the Bid Form prepared by the Engineer and shall be submitted in sealed envelopes so marked as applicable. The Project generally consists of the following work: The project site is located on the 81 Lakeside Drive property, and the 50 Tyrell Road property, both in the Village of Pawling, NY. The work for this contract consists of: the construction of two production wells, including electrical power and controls, water line connections, and site access gate and fence. The Village and contractor will finalize all contract documents by September 30, 2022 and commence work no earlier than October 1, 2022. All work including restoration must be completed by December 30, 2022. This is an EFC DWSRF funded project and the successful contractor will need to comply with all EFC program requirements. Work shall be determined to be satisfactorily completed when in compliance with the plans and technical specifications. Bids should not include sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work. If Bids are actually received by mail or by hand after the appointed time on the date specified they shall be rejected, notwithstanding that such Bids may have been placed in a mail box or other mail receptacle regularly maintained by the United States Postal Service before such time and ordinarily in sufficient time to have been delivered on time. Bidders will also be required to furnish a Non-Collusive Affidavit. Checks for the Contract Documents shall be made payable to "Village of Pawling" Note that only bidders who are registered with The Village Clerk will receive notification of Addenda. The Contractor must use the higher of the prevailing federal, state, or applicable local wage rates further described in the Contract Documents. These rates apply to Subcontractors as well. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements for ensuring that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against due to race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Village of Pawling, as Owner, reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bid received, or to reject any Bid without explanation. By Order of: Village of Pawling |
