Jones High School Roof Replacement

1. Remove and dispose of existing multi-ply modified bitumen roofing system, including flashings and associated materials and components down to existing structural concrete or steel deck. 2. Install new rigid insulation, cover boards, and single-ply membrane roof system, including flashings and associated materials and components. 3. Refurbish and re-use existing roof drains. 4. Provide overflow drainage throughout the roof(s) as indicated. 5. Raise parapet walls, building expansion joint, and reglet flashings at building 1000, 2000, 5000 and 100000. 6. Remove abandoned rooftop equipment/curbs and enclose roof deck before installing new roof system. 7. Remove and reinstall existing lightning protection system(s). Modify where required to obtain Master UL recertification after reinstallation of system components and after completion of roofing modifications. 8. Install new overflow drains at locations identified in the project drawings 9. Enlarge scupper openings at locations identified in the project drawings. 10. Remove and replace existing collector boxes, downspouts, and decorative scupper covers.
