Description | To remove existing damaged sanitary sewer pipe and replace with new pipe. placement of sanitary piping and associated concrete work including concrete wet cutting and concrete re-pour placement of slab and all cleanup in all areas of work. Permit and inspection fees will not be waived, and are the responsibility of the contractor. 1. Removal of existing concrete and all excavation work for install of replacement pipe -SDR 26 and Fernco couplings at dissimilar materials and inlet piping into sanitary main proposed MH- manhole just east of garage CO- clean out 2. Strong backs at all pipe directional turns (22,45-degree changes) due to assumed existing utility interferences shown on video by Advanced Underground Inspection. This video should be included in bid document which indicates changes in direction and inlets 3. Mortar casting or similar means if/as needed at dissimilar material connections 4. Hand build manhole or precast MH cand credit if using Dearborn owned stock of MH components (list deducts if any component/s from city’s stock). 5. 21AA backfill and density compaction in 1’ lifts Concrete remove/replacement (match existing garage interior concrete-hard finish)of assumed 6” garage floor and add cost for 8” or each additional inch of concrete (list as add price for concrete- City concrete contractor may provide concrete re-placement slab.24/7 operation of Police building, provide as needed means of maintaining sanitary flow which may include use of inflatable flow through pipe plugs or similar procedure and or short periods (to not back up sewage piping) of stopping flow for existing pipe with balloon type stop during existing removal and re-installation with segmented pipe install. Define method of maintaining flow in bid. Verify all slopes and flow and connects prior to installing pipe, backfilling and review with city engineering inspector/s. Existing underground utilities are unknown, hand probing/ hand excavation/ machine excavation as required to not damage existing unknown underground utilities. |
