Bus Stop Pad Construction and Amenity Installation

BFT provides public transportation services covering a 616-square mile area located in Benton and Franklin Counties. The area includes the cities of Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, West Richland, Benton City, Prosser and adjacent unincorporated areas of Benton and Franklin County. Under the terms of this project of a one-year On-Call Public Works Contract with option for a second year, the Contractor shall provide completed pads to BFT Bus Stop Design Standards. BFT will authorize one (1) Task Order for the construction of each individual bus stop location during the Contract term. Subject to varying external conditions, BFT estimates approximately forty (40) construction Task Orders may be issued per year (a total of up to approximately eighty (80) over a potential two (2) years) and will endeavor to issue a minimum of five (5) Task Orders / locations concurrently. This does not include the Task Orders for Amenity installations, see separately under, “Amenity Installation”. There is no guarantee of a specific amount of bus stop sites throughout the duration of this project. BFT is aware of concrete’s short load cost and will take this into factor while grouping work sites together. BFT and the Contractor shall review specific requirements at each construction site and agree to a lump sum price before finalizing the Task Order, including the scope of services and overall schedule required to complete construction. Concrete pads will be located throughout the BFT service area in Benton and Franklin Counties.
