Scorpio Corporation has been selected as the Construction Manager for the Marion County Public Schools Elevator Door Lock Monitoring Compliance and would like to invite you to provide pricing. The project consists of Eight (8) Separate Hydraulic Passenger Elevators to receive upgrades to the Door Lock Monitoring in addition to an alternate option to modernize the Eight (8) Separate Elevators. Reference bid specifications as a part of this ITB for each bid request. Please provide separate bid proposals for each. The project will start in February 2023. Locations: North Marion High School 151 W Highway 329 Citra FL 32113 Vanguard High School 7 NW 28th St Ocala FL 34475 Belleview High School 10400 SE 36th Belleview FL 34420 Lake Weir High School 10351 SE Maricamp Rd Ocala FL 34472 Lake Weir Middle School 10220 SE Sunset Harbor Rd Summerfield FL 34491 Elevator work includes: 1) Commercial, standard hydraulic elevators. 2) Door Lock Monitoring Compliance. 3) Accessibility provisions for physically disabled persons. C) Engineering, equipment, labor, machines, control systems, devices and accessories as required for safely operating the specified elevators at rated speed with rated capacities. D) Delivery,staging, and hoisting of new equipment. Hoisting, dismantling, removal and disposal of existing equipment. Repair, cleaning, and painting of reusable equipment. E) Materials and accessories as required for completing the elevator project. F) Hoistway, pit and machine room barricades for safety as required. G) Required hoisting, hoisting permits and traffic coordination and/or permits with local jurisdictions and the State of FL as required. H) Required permits and coordination and/or permits with local jurisdictions, Bureau of Elevator Safety and the State of FL as required.
