Description

The Scope of Work includes: a. Clean pool and surface area removing dirt and debris to receive new liner. b. Coat interior with sanitizing agent to deter growth of bacteria. c. Remove gutters as required to facilitate new pool liner, repair any gutter sections, leaks, and damage to gutter system. The gutter system shall be fully functional system with no leaks. d. Apply felt protection/leveling layer to the entire surface of the pool as required. e. Install and fit pool membrane to the entire surface of the pool per manufacturer standards. f. Hot air weld and seal all seams. g. Extend membrane to top of pool wall, wrap, weld, and fasten to just below the cement coping to PVC at back of file scum gutter and wrap to the coping and terminate at pool deck. h. Provide and install new PVC flanges and appropriate transitions shall be furnished and installed for all inlets, outlets, main drains, underwater lights, anchor sockets and other necessary membrane penetrations. i. Complete additional perimeter sealant, detail work, and finish work to make a complete watertight installation. j. Install Depth/No Diving markers, Lane Lines, Targets and Pool Safety markings onto surface membrane to match existing, if applicable. k. Clean site suitable for pool filling and perform final inspection. l. Issue a 10-year material warranty, a 1-year labor workmanship warranty, and product used must have proven track record for durability and longevity. m. Contractor to procure all necessary permits and pay required fees. n. Contractor to maintain working area free of tools, materials, and/or equipment not essential to the progress of the work. Upon completion of the job, all debris shall be removed. The City of Delray Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such coverage and terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City. Q & A deadline: Jun 16, 2023 5:00:00 PM EDT Any questions regarding the specifications and Solicitation process must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Division at burzynskij@mydelarybeach.com The City of Delray Beach is accepting Bids to contract with a licensed and insured Contractor for Pool Liner Repair and Replacement of the Pompey Park Pool Located at 1. 1101 NW 2nd Street, Delray Beach, Florida Project should be completed within forty-five (45) consecutive calendar days (approx. six (6) weeks). Work under this Contract consists of furnishing all labor, parts, materials, equipment, clean-up, permits, and incidentals required to deliver, repairs and modifications to install a PVC Pool Membrane into a concrete surface pool. This facility is two-hundred and twenty thousand (220,000) gallons and eight thousand (8,000) square feet for the City of Delray Beach Parks and Recreation Department in a competent and professional manner and in compliance with all applicable safety and technical related codes and laws. All work should be completed and approved by Parks and Recreation.
