MARFAC Maintenance Dredging

University of California, San Diego (Owner) is accepting Bids on behalf of the Scripps Institute of Oceanography (SIO) to perform maintenance dredging at the SIO Nimitz Marine Facility located in San Diego, California, on the northern side of the San Diego Bay. The objective of this Project is to perform maintenance dredging within the berthing area to the elevations specified within the Performance Requirements and Drawings for the purpose of providing safe and unimpeded navigability for vessels that use the Site. Questions Due Friday, June 24, 2022 (5:00 PM PDT) Response to Questions Thursday, June 30, 2022 The University RFP Administrator is the sole point of contact regarding all procurement and contractual matters relating to the requirements described in this RFP; and is the only office authorized to change, modify, clarify, etc., the specifications, terms and conditions of this RFP and any agreement(s) awarded as a result of this RFP. All questions and requests for clarification concerning this RFP should be entered into the CalUsource Discussion Forum by the questions deadline indicated in the Project Schedule. Bidders are instructed to refrain from contacting SIO personnel directly during the bidding process. Such bonds shall be executed and sealed by a duly licensed surety registered with the California State Insurance Commissioner, and the suretys name shall appear in the current Authorized Insurance Company List in the State of California published by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner. Attorneys-in-fact who sign bonds must file with each bond a certified and effectively dated copy of their Power of Attorney.
