Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor and equipment necessary to complete the work. Aquatic sites may include but do are not limited to floating, emergent and submerged aquatic vegetation. Invasive plant management projects are conducted within two regions of the District Conservation Areas (North/South ) as determined by the District’s Project Manager within the District’s 18 counties at any given time. The District shall have the option, depending on weather conditions, growth stage of the target vegetation and other variables, to designate when specific areas are to be treated. The nuisance aquatic plant species shall be treated in accordance with District guidelines established for each individual site. Contractor shall perform the specified services on an as-needed basis as directed by the District's Project Manager. This work environment and the seclusion/distance of available District personnel requires that the Contractor be self-sufficient and have ready use of airboats and equipment required to complete the Work.
