Description | Bid Categories Included WC 05 Concrete WC 07 Fencing WC 20 General Trades WC 20A Window Coverings WC 24 Painting All questions are to be directed to the Construction Manager. No direct contact with the Owner or Architect is requested. All questions must be in writing and submitted electronicallly, no later than September 28, 2022, at 3:00pm. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond made payable to Brinker-Christman, a Joint Venture in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid as a bid security. If bidders do not wish to furnish a bid bond, bid security may also be submitted in the form of certified check, cashiers' check, or money order The Bid Security of Bidders under consideration will be returned immediately after award of contracts. The amount of the guarantee shall be forfeited to Brinker-Christman, a Joint Venture if the successful Bidder fails to enter into a contract and furnish required bonds and insurance within 30 days after award of contracts. All proposals submitted shall remain valid for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid date. Brinker-Christman, a Joint Venture and Detroit Public Schools Community District reserve the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all proposals, or accept any proposal, which, in their opinion, will serve their best interest. The Owner reserves the right, based on the advice of the Construction Manager and Architect, to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of such Bidder fails to prove that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contemplated therein |
