Wyco and Danahy Sports Court Renovation Project

Design-Build Team (DBT) to demo, design, furnish, and reconstruct a total of five (5) tennis courts and a bocce ball court at two separate parks through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The intent is to design and reconstruct three tennis courts and lighting at Wyco Park (Project A), reconstruct two tennis courts at Danahy Park (Project B) and design and construct a bocce ball court at Danahy Park (Project B) during the 2022 fiscal year. This project will occur at two separate parks in Northglenn and mobilization at each park should be considered whendeveloping the proposal. The project consists of reconstructing new post-tension concrete courts, five (5) reconstructed tennis courts with underdrains, and installing a new chain-link fence with gates around the perimeter, similar to how the courts are currently set up (Project A & B). The tennis courts will be reconstructed in approximately the same location. The third tennis court, closest to the basketball courts, at Wyco Park (Project A) will be striped to accommodate a multipurpose court dual striped for tennis and pickleball or four (4) pickleball courts perpendicular to the tennis courts. The project will include new LED lighting and new posts to replace the existing tennis court lighting a Wyco Park (Project A). At Danahy Park (Project B), a new concrete pad for bocce ball will be constructed and fitted wit appropriat surfacing and tied into the existing park amenities via a sidewalk or path. The project will include a lighting assessment, repair, and/or replace existing tennis court lighting at Danahy Park (Project B). Each sports court location will include all the appropriate equipment and park amenities for turnkey operation.
