Mad River Pipeline Valve Replacement - City of Eureka

Site work for a water / sewer project in Eureka, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project. A series of valves on the Mad River Pipeline, the main water transmission line to the Greater Eureka Area, have been found to not operate fully. The valves in question do not close fully creating operational difficulties as well as major issues when emergency repairs are needed on the main. This project will replace the faulty valves to restore operational and emergency functionality. This Project is in included in the City of Eureka 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of June 27, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
