Parking Lot at Fallasburg Park

The Kent County Purchasing Division is soliciting bids for the construction of re-building parking lot at Fallasburg Park. Lot currently serves the disc golf course at Fallasburg Park. Lot is located approximately 1/2 mile west of 14000 McPherson St, Lowell, MI 49331. The project will be substantially completed on or before December 31, 2022. The Project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services necessary to construct the site package for a rebuilding the parking lot per the attached construction plans. Project consists of removing all vegetation (grass/shrubs), relocating existing boulders on-site for resetting, strip topsoil and stockpile for reuse, excavation and removal of existing gravel lot material to proposed subgrade, general site grading, installation of new gravel base, fine grading for drainage, topsoil placement and restoration, as well as other improvements noted on the Drawings. All removals on plan shown by owner will be completed in coordinated effort with Contractor. HMA pavement and lot striping will not be included in the base bid. Contractor may provide alternate bid if contractor believes pavement can be completed this year but is not required. Project award will be based on base bid only. Dimensions, if furnished, are for general reference only and should be verified by Respondents. Kent County will evaluate, award and contract for the goods and services in this solicitation in an efficient and timely manner. The solicitation will be awarded to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming with all the material terms and conditions of the solicitation, is the lowest price.
