| Description | Goal - Design Participation: MBEs (6.6%) and WBEs (15%) and Construction Participation: MBEs (4.2%) and WBEs (8.8%). Removal of existing precast concrete treads from all steps within JFK Plaza, construction of a cast-in-place concrete wall (with formliner) to be drilled and grouted into the existing steps to create a planter, placing new cast-in-place concrete treads on all proposed steps, installing contractor designed/detailed handrails on the proposes steps, replacement of brick walk at the top of all concrete steps, concrete patch repairs to the existing piers between staircases, backfilling planters, installing lighting features, and installing plantings provided by City. |
