Transition Center Renovation - Phase One

Interior renovation project. The general scope of work includes the initial phase of a planned two-year renovation of a one-story commercial property to create a Transitions Center for New Trier's special education department. The general scope of work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction necessary for completion of the work indicated in the Bid Documents including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: cutting and patching, selective demolition, miscellaneous rough carpentry, interior finish carpentry, slatwall panel systems, plastic paneling, thermal insulation, penetration firestopping, fire-resistive joint systems, joint sealants, hollow metal doors and frames, flush wood doors, access doors and frames, aluminum-framed entrances and storefronts, door hardware, glazing, non-structural metal framing, gypsum board, acoustical panel ceilings, interior painting, visual display units, toilet, bath & laundry accessories, fire protection cabinets, plumbing, heating, ventilating and air-conditioning, electrical, structured cabling for voice and data, and extension of existing fire alarm system.
