Description | 1. Remove and dispose of existing roofing systems and components, including membrane, insulation, base sheets, flexible and metal flashings, and associated materials and components 2. Replace existing deteriorated tectum deck where necessary at unit price cost. 3. Replace deteriorated nailers atop parapet walls at unit price cost. 4. Provide wood blocking at perimeter edges, walls, fascias, and penetrations (Division 06 Section "Rough Carpentry"). 5. Provide new multi-layered insulation systems throughout the roof areas (Division 07 Section "'Roof and Deck Insulation"). 6. Provide adhered thermoplastic membrane roofing system, base flashings, stripping's, and associated components (Division 07 Section "Thermoplastic Roofing"). 7. Provide perimeter and penetration sheet metal copings, flashings and counter flashings and miscellaneous sheet metal fabrications (Division 07 Section "Flashing and Sheet Metal"). 8. Provide roof drain assemblies at existing roof drain locations to match existing size and leader piping and extensions at existing vent pipes if necessary (Division 22 Section "Roof Drains"). 9. Strip and paint exposed vent piping with elastomeric coating to match goosenecks. Repair/replace if necessary. 10. Disconnect and reconnect existing mechanical/electrical components to restore proper operation to rooftop equipment following installation of roofing (Division 23 Section "Mechanical/Electrical General Requirements"). 11. Install new elastomeric fluid applied coating to existing goosenecks and re flash.(Division 07 Section "Fluid Applied Coating") 12. Furnish and install new expansion joint system at all existing locations. (Division 07 Section "Flashing and Sheet Metal") 13. Furnish and install a minimum of six over flow scuppers through parapet walls or as needed to meet code | ||
